The Mid-Autumn Festival and Moon cake

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional holiday in some Asian country such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Vietnam and Korea. The festival is held on the 15th day of the August in the lunar calendar. In the day, family get together to watch the full moon and eat the moon cake because the round shape symbolized completeness and unity in the Chinese culture.

Street food in South Korea !!

Korean street food is part of the adventure for visitors when traveling in Korea.
Please enjoy the video and start to plan your MUST EAT list.

My favorite list
Korean style sandwich breakfast

Tteokbokki (떡볶이 – spicy rice cakes) – Rice cakes in a spicy red pepper paste sauce. And the bright red color should be warning enough of how spicy it can be (depending on where you go). Don’t be intimidated if you only see junior high school girls giggling over rice cakes. Head over there and get some yourself. It’s equally loved by both kids and adults

Budae jjigae  (부대찌개)-- a type of jjigae (a thick Korean soup similar to a Western stew). The spicy soup includes hot dogs, spam, ham, kimchi, cheese and noodles.
